Kennedy Creative, a wedding and event production company, has relocated to South Austin.
The new headquarters, at 5810 Trade Center Drive, doubles the size of its former office and includes more than 6,000 square feet of office and storage space. Kennedy Creative’s new office also boasts a showroom area that will showcase event design items available to rent.
“Most people would think the recent economy would take its toll on the event business, but we’ve experienced quite the opposite,” said founder Natalie Kennedy. “We’ve been eager to find a spot that will allow us to be more interactive and hands-on with our clients in the office.”
The Kennedy Creative team moved into the new location on Sept. 1, and plans to open the space to visitors in October.
Kennedy Creative will begin offering workshops at the new location for event planners, brides-to-be and others. These workshops will cover everything from flower arranging to developing an event checklist. The workshops will be led by experts from Kennedy Creative and will include guest speakers.
Kennedy Creative’s old office was at 2111 Dickson Drive. The company, which is hiring, has nine employees and 12 contractors.

April 23, 2008 (Austin, TX) – Earth Day may be over, but Austin’s top event management company, Kennedy Creative, is doing its part to make green its signature color. Having recently participated in 12th Annual Austin Settings Kappa Settings, which showcased table settings from local designers and merchants, Kennedy Creative designed a table from an eco-conscious perspective. To create the “Grass Roots” theme of the table, their design team chose to make a centerpiece from reclaimed driftwood. Vibrant orange Proteus flowers and seed pods served as natural decorative touches to the table and mixed well with the bamboo place settings and chairs.
