The rain has stopped and left behind it’s legacy of vibrant hues, so today I want to pay tribute to the bright shades of spring by sharing a sneak peak from our Tuesday event, the Brightest Party Ever. Brilliant neon hues combined with radical pop art created the perfect atmosphere for an amazingly colorful time. I leave you today with some colorful inspiration from the party. One of the things we love about wedding planning is seeing all of the special pieces come together on that one special day, and the bride, groom and family getting to celebrate and truly enjoy themselves. We love working, so you don’t have to! Sometimes, we even get a peak at the couples’ wedding video and we all get to re-live their “I do’s.” Grab a tissue, and take a look:

Friday’s Fave: Make Your Own Snow Cones!

Well, it’s Friday and it only seems fitting to share this adorable and fun treat. This snow cone station could be set up in your home, on a Saturday, or set up for your guests at your wedding or special event. Cool, right? Sur La Table has a great selection of syrups including raspberry, mango pineapple and lemon lime, and Martha Stewart has DIY instuctions for the bottle labels. New car launch + mileage on our design wheels = fantastic series of events

We got the privilege to work with Dodge on their 2013 Dodge Dart media event. They invited folks from around the globe to view and experience their latest wheels. Take a peek at the three different launch events we helped produce:

They started with the preview/overview of the car at the one-and-only ACL Live at The Moody Theater. We helped arrange the layout of the floor and brought in some additional lighting to help the car “pop” on the showroom floor. Afterward, they drove out to Albert, Texas to enjoy a Texas style BBQ lunch from Salt Lick (YUM), and a little slice of the beautiful hill country in this cozy outdoor lounge.

They ended the program at Clive Bar (in downtown Austin) where we offered them great food, hand-rolled cigars and a little game of pool, if they wanted it.

Congrats, again, Dodge on another great car launch!

If you’re getting married this summer, this circle of sunshine that we did for one of our brides (sunflower wreath) is super-cute — and a must-have — for your bouquet. Unique and so fun!

We’re loving this table setting we did for one of our clients. We married the desire to be outdoors with the reality of needing to be inside and we’re thrilled with how it turned out! How we did it? We used white tree branches with delicate yellow flowers to bring height and drama to the table; the white square plates and hand-picked sea shells welcome the ocean; the black tablecloth, black and white patterned table runner and coordinating circular salad plates bring balance and stability (gotta watch out for the ocean — it can be wild and unstable!); the solid-covered white bench, white bamboo-like chair and jute pillows round out the table adding a sense of the warm beach — makes us want to rub our feet in the sand!

What do you like about this table?

Get it? So, it’s Monday and it seems only fitting to spend a few minutes enjoying one of the latest craves: Mustaches. They’re showing up everywhere — parties, photo booths, invitations and beyond. While brainstorming for one of our clients, we came across this lovely woman who happens to be wearing gorgeous make-up, a great hat, AND a mustache.

Spring is here and so is white! Using white as the main color for your event brings a special level of elegance and sophistication. For the event below (at the fabulous W Hotel in Austin), we mixed the subtle zebra patterned rug and used hints of grey, fuchsia and orange to make the room pop.
